madball

The members of Madball are icons in the underground and that underground now spills forth into the streets. Since forming in 1988, Madball has been responsible for some of the most important releases in the genre, from the seminal Ball of Destruction EP (1989) to the landmark albums Set It Off (1994), Demonstrating My Style (1996), Look My Way (1998), Hold it Down (2000), and their career defining resurgent Ferret Music debut, Legacy (2005). The band completes their musical and lyrical evolution with Infiltrate the System, comprised of 13 tracks that combine the most tried-and-true and fan-beloved elements of their esteemed catalog with new depth, renewed urgency, increasing diversity and a near-conceptual approach to new stories about the streets, and the world.

The tireless and tour-hungry hardcore loyalists in LA’s TERROR, have earned quite a reputation since forming at the turn of the millennium. Their melding of no-frills breakneck hardcore and the fervor of new generation metal bridges the gap between young and old, and it makes for one hell of a pit no matter what city or stage the band leaves in ruin.

With their new current line-up there is no exception. New guitarist Martin Stewart made invaluable contributions to the purist, no B.S. approach heard on Donnybrook’s Lions In This Game, Doug Weber (guitar) and Nick Jett (drums) have been with the band from the start, and Jonathan Buske (bass) gave Always the Hard Way an effective lumbering beat.

TERROR HAS RELEASED THEIR NEW ALBUM: The Damned, The Shamed
